   Our groomers can groom your pet to AKC Standard Breed Profile or a fancy creative style that best suits your pet. The groomer will discuss with you all details every visit. Comfort cuts for the elderly pets. We also offer a "Puppy Program" starting at $20 a week that introduces your puppy to the grooming experience in a way they will enjoy it from the very first visit. Starting after all puppy shots are completed. It is a weekly program lasting from 4-6 weeks. Our Weekly bathes start at $20 and works well to maintain pets with the longer haircuts and for those who want their pets looking and feeling their best all the time. Bathing your dog weekly washes away all the allergen's, molds and dirt that create skin problems common in Florida. We have a very low incident of ear infections. We also do a complete external check for ticks and fleas. For an extra $10 you can have your pets teeth brushed during the bath. We do not scale the teeth and recommend yearly teeth cleaning at your veterinarian.  
 
Our grooming prices are based on:

3. Length and condition of coat
4. Behavior
5. How often your pet is groomed
6. Bath... We hand dry the pets. No cage drying.

Our Services Include

• Bath: Shampoo and conditioner, nail trim, ears cleaned and anal glands expressed.
• Flea Bath: $5 extra
• Mini Groom: Bath, sanitary trim, face and feet trimmed.
• Full Groom:  Bath with complete hair style of your choice.
• Nail trim only
• Our final touch includes a bandana or beautiful handmade bows.
• DayCare only $6 extra charge on the same day as grooming.

   We charge extra for dematting. We do only minimal dematting. Dematting is painful and we will not put your pet through any traumatic experiences. Grooming should not be a painful experience. Remember they don't forget a thing.
 
   Shorter hair cuts are less expensive because we can remove most of the hair before the bath. Longer haircuts must be brushed and combed before the bath. Longer haircuts require more shampoo, longer time in the tub and it takes more time to dry them. The longer haircuts require longer time on the grooming table and more scissoring.
 
   Pets with behavioral problems will be treated with patience and special care. I have had great success in turning behavioral problems around by not forcing anything on them and slowly bringing them around where they enjoy their grooming experience. Sometimes that requires a weekly bath for 4-6 weeks. Grooming is like anything else; the more experience you get the better you are at it. Just like golf, dance and driving a car. The more experience your pet has with grooming the more they enjoy it as well.  It means so much to us that they have a good experience. Grooming is not something they should fear or dislike. We respect your pet and take the time to allow them to learn to trust the staff at the Village Groomer.
 
   We take the time to listen to customer detail and will discuss with you the best haircut for you and your pet. We get it right the first time. We want your pet to look and feel their best all the time. Our weekly bath pets seem to have less skin and coat issues. And less ear infection problems.
 
   Our Shampoo's and conditioners have all natural ingredients and have no soap making them compatible with all flea treatments. Our conditioners not only condition the coat but skin as well. The groomer will select the appropriate shampoo for your pets coat and skin. Flea treatments should be applied at least 24 hours after their bath. Bath prices are based on size, length and condition of coat. Obviously the larger the pet and longer hair takes more time.
 
   Starting February 1, 2009 there will be an extra charge of $10 for "Express Grooming" or "In and Out " appointments.
